Financial Planning Assistant / Annuity Specialist
We welcomed Sam to the Akers Financial Group team in January 2022 as a Financial Planning Intern. Since then, he has graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and joined the firm full-time as a Financial Planning Assistant. Sam is also licensed in Life and Accident & Health Insurance.
In his role, Sam supports the advisory team by preparing for client meetings and assisting in the development of financial plans. His analytical background and commitment to helping clients make informed financial decisions contribute to the planning process and overall client experience.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys board games, comparing books with their movie adaptations, and music. He attends the Church of Reconciliation in Bel Air, where he serves as the assistant leader of the music ministry. Sam, his wife, and their son reside in Street, Maryland.
