Ruth joined the Akers team in November 2024, bringing with her extensive secretarial experience from the financial industry as well as various roles at Harford Christian School. She also spent 15 years at home raising her children, further developing the organizational and administrative skills she brings to her role.
At Akers Financial Group, Ruth supports the team by welcoming clients, answering and directing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and performing a variety of administrative tasks. Her experience and attention to detail help ensure the office operates efficiently and clients receive timely assistance.
Outside of work, Ruth enjoys spending time with her family, hiking in her neighborhood, and taking family vacations. She and her husband are the proud parents of eight children and grandparents to seven grandchildren. Ruth also enjoys reading and listening to podcasts. They reside in Delta, Pennsylvania, where they appreciate the tranquility of rural life.
