Paula joined Akers Financial Group in May 2021 and brings approximately 30 years of experience in the finance industry. Originally from the Timonium area, she began her career in Baltimore County before relocating to Harford County more than twenty years ago. Over the course of her career, Paula has gained experience on both the retail/client side and the operational and regulatory side of the industry, giving her a well-rounded understanding of financial services.
Her extensive background has equipped her with strong administrative skills as well as in-depth knowledge of account processing and daily operational activities. At Akers Financial Group, Paula plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment for clients. Her responsibilities include greeting clients, answering and directing phone calls, scheduling and managing appointments, and supporting a variety of administrative functions.
Paula and her husband Doug are “empty nesters” living in Harford County, where they remain close to their grown children and three granddaughters. Paula is an avid crafter, so don’t be surprised if you meet her at one of our fun Akers craft events!
