Janet became part of our Akers team in March of 2023. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Richmond, a Master of Science in Finance from Loyola and a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Baltimore. Prior to putting her career on hold to raise her three children, Janet was employed by Price Waterhouse as their Staff Auditor, she was Senior Accountant for Mutual Fund Accounting at T. Rowe Price and was the Accounting Coordinator at Harford Community College.
Janet is a lifelong Bel Air resident. She enjoys reading and volunteering as a band mom with her sons' HS marching band and spending time with her family.
