David Good joined Akers Financial Group in April 2015. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of Delaware. After graduating, he spent several years working in the Arabian horse industry before transitioning into the business world, where he joined his father at Kaestner, a process piping installation and fabrication company.
During his time at Kaestner, David gained extensive experience across multiple areas of the business, including sales, operations, and management. He eventually rose to the role of vice president, where he worked alongside his father to help operate the company, which has a history spanning over 100 years. At Akers Financial Group, David’s responsibilities include operational oversight, strategic planning and execution, and managing internal processes and systems.
Outside of work, David is actively involved in his church community at North Harford Baptist Church, where he serves on the worship team as well as in leadership roles including financial secretary, deacon, and member of the finance committee. He and his wife, Ruth, reside in White Hall and enjoy spending time with their large family, which includes six children and eight grandchildren.
