Alex joined Akers Financial Group in May 2012 and serves as a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®). He is a licensed life and health insurance specialist, holds Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses, and is registered as a FINRA General Securities Representative. Alex earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Towson University, providing him with a strong foundation in financial planning and investment strategies.
In his role, Alex works directly with clients to develop and maintain comprehensive financial plans, helping them build long-term financial security. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Akers Financial Group Investment Committee and focuses on tax planning and retirement income strategies. In addition to his advisory work, Alex co-hosts the radio program Winning in Retirement on WCBM 680 and 105.7 The Fan, where he shares insights on retirement planning and wealth management.
A lifelong resident of Harford County, Alex lives in Fallston with his wife Becky and their son. Outside of work, he enjoys a variety of sports, tackling home improvement projects, and traveling with his family.
