Alex joined Akers Financial Group in May 2012 and serves as a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®). He is a licensed life and health insurance specialist and holds Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses. In addition, Alex is registered as a FINRA General Securities Representative.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Towson University and brings a strong foundation in financial planning and investment strategies to his role. Alex co-hosts the radio program Winning in Retirement on WCBM 680 and 105.7 The Fan, where he shares insights on retirement planning and wealth management.
Alex’s primary responsibilities are as follows:
- Meeting with clients to develop and maintain comprehensive financial plans
- Serving as Co-Chair of the Akers Financial Group Investment Committee
- Tax planning and retirement income strategies
- Helping clients achieve financial security and confidence in retirement
Alex is a life-long resident of Harford County. He, his wife Becky and their son reside in Fallston. Alex enjoys an array of sports, Home Improvement projects & traveling with his family.
